For Careers & Aspirations Week at Richmond Primary School, I was invited to speak to their pupils about jobs in tech industries. I was delighted to spend a great day getting them excited about working in the games industry!
After presenting at two assemblies for infants and juniors about all the different types of job available (artists, producers, audio designers, programmers, etc.), I then did some workshops where I had them create their own video game characters and worlds to put them in. It was important for me that they worked in teams as great game design is collaborative!
